For over a decade Lai Hin Trading Sdn. Bhd. has been one of the largest producers of salted eggs within Malaysia. Located in Bandar Baharu Kedah, Lai Hin Trading Sdn. Bhd.’s 12 hectare farmland has a clean and natural environment, allowing the ducks to roam as they please. The corporation's capacity today has reached over 120,000 ducks. However, the sheer size of the farm is not the only thing to be revered about. Behold the open farm. This farming method allows the ducks to roam freely and go through their daily activities without human interference. Inarguably the open farm gives the utmost importance to the duck’ quality of life, which in turn guarantees the quality of the eggs they produce.

Apart from salted eggs, Lai Hin Trading Sdn. Bhd. also trades salted egg yolks. For the egg yolks to be harvested they have to be seasoned for at least a month. The eggs are collected and washed under constant flowing water. This ensures that the eggs are never exposed to water that is contaminated from previous washes. The high emphasis on hygiene is an important element that granted Lai Hin salted eggs the Halal status. In line with Lai Hin Trading Sdn Bhd’s strict policy of cleanliness and safety, the eggs are not cracked by hand; instead, they are fed into a cracking machine. This machine applies a very precise level of force as to not break the yolk in the process. The machine is able to process 8000 salted egg yolks within an hour. Lai Hin Trading Sdn. Bhd. single handedly.

The corporation produces premium quality duck egg products for an ever growing global consumership. With an ever expanding demand; Lai Hin Trading Sdn. Bhd. which employs the latest facilities with state of the art equipment and systems in its salted duck eggs production is certified under Veterinary Health Mark (VHM) and also fulfilled Department of Veterinary Services and Malaysia Good Agricultural Practices (MyGAP) requirements for livestocks. Furthermore, have certified halal by the Islamic Development of Malaysia. (Jabatan Kemajuan Islam Malaysia).

We have also embarked on a long-termed commitment towards food safety and quality and has been duly awarded with the certification of ISO 22000:2005 Food Safety Management System and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) in 2010.
